Pipeline Engineer
Houston, TX – Corporate Headquarters or Mesa Field Office
Company: Houston-based midstream company focused on developing assets that support the transportation, storage, and processing of natural gas liquids (NGL), refined products, and petrochemicals. Easton’s primary assets include underground liquid hydrocarbon storage (salt cavern) facilities near Markham, TX and approximately 416 miles of liquid product pipelines that connect key product markets along the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast.
POSITION SUMMARY
Company is seeking a seasoned professional to be a key-member of a talented and dynamic team focused on operational excellence and asset growth.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- This individual will serve as a technical resource supporting all facets of pipeline and underground storage activities and must possess the ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of personnel with tact, courtesy, and professionalism.
- Primary position responsibility is to manage and execute Easton’s Integrity Management program.
- Own and maintain integrity-related plans, specifications, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure timely execution of integrity assessments, support execution of threat and risk analysis, implement cost-effective preventative and mitigative measures, and maintain adequate documentation to satisfy state and federal regulations.
- Develop and manage accurate inline inspection and other integrity testing (e.g. ECDA and hydrostatic test) schedules.
- Plan and execute project management activities associated with integrity activities (inline inspections, hydrostatic tests, etc.).
- Work with integrity service providers, including coordinating bid packages, selection, evaluation, and award.
- Analyze testing reports, develop work plans, and coordinate verification/ validation digs & pipeline repair activities in response to identified anomalies.
- Position will also provide technical support to Easton’s Operations and Project Management Departments.
- Assist field personnel in the execution of routine and non-routine activities.
- Analyze operational data to troubleshoot issues; identify and implement opportunities to increase reliability, reduce risk, and lower operating costs.
- Perform engineering evaluations on third-party encroachment requests.
- Support evaluation and development of new business opportunities.
- Assist in developing, reviewing, updating, and maintaining alignment sheets, PFDs, P&IDs, and other controlled process documents.
- Lead, or participate in, formal and informal investigations as requested.
- Participate in project engineering reviews, including design evaluations, equipment/material selection, hydrostatic test pressure determination and MOP/MAOP calculations, fitness for purpose, etc.
- Manage small capital or maintenance projects, including pipeline/facility upgrades, replacement, or relocation.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or other related engineering field; non-degreed professionals will be considered with sufficient relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of pipeline integrity experience is required.
- Experience in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of pipelines transporting HVLs (NGLs and olefins), and refined products is desired. Underground hydrocarbon (salt cavern) storage experience is highly desired.
- Working knowledge of pipeline safety regulations and regulatory requirements (i.e., 49 CFR 195, 16 TAC, OSHA, and state environmental regulations), and industry codes (i.e. ASME B31.4, ASME B31.3, etc). Experience with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) is desired.
- Results-oriented with strong integrity, and accountability.
- Must be a self-starter and self-directed with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment. Strong analytical and time management skills are required.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Position is subject to being on-call 24 hours, 7 days per week.
- Able to respond to emergency situations, as required.
Senior Project Manager

Easton Energy LLC is a Houston based midstream company focused on developing infrastructure assets that support the transportation, storage, and processing of hydrocarbons. Easton’s primary focus is the transportation and storage of natural gas liquids (NGL), crude oil, refined products, and petrochemicals. This position is based in Houston, Texas.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Project Manager position is responsible for all aspects of project execution. This position works as a collaborative leader with internal and external customers such as Project Controls, ROW, Integrity Management, HSE&R, Operations, Construction, Engineering, and Business Development to take capital projects from inception through execution.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop scopes, estimates, timelines, and technical documents as needed to move projects through the phase gate process for project approval.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at different locations.
- Coordinate internal and external resources as required to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Coordinates and manages projects in accordance with Company policies and procedures
- Accurate reporting and forecasting of all project elements. • Ensure project documentation and drawings are complete, current, and archived during project close out activities. • Analyzes and manages project with the objective of minimizing financial and schedule risk.
- Prepares weekly and monthly project progress reports
- Effectively applies project management best practices and enforces project standards
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and engineering requirements associated with projects.
- Function as a key component of the business development process focused on new infrastructure projects (pre-FEED)
- Provide technical engineering and support on an as needed basis for existing operations.
- Support continued development of Easton Project Excellence including project phase standardization and documentation, specifications, estimation standardization, and associated procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline required
- Greater than 10 years of Engineering/ project management experience in the oil, gas, or chemical industries is preferred
- Greater than 5 years of hands-on project management experience directly associated with pipeline, facilities and/or storage projects is preferred Required technical experience:
- Pipeline hydraulic analysis and pump station design
- Project development, scoping and estimation
- Contractor selection and management
- Experience with ASME and API standards, DOT regulations, environmental permiting and regulatory approval process is preferred
- Midstream experience related to pipelines and salt cavern storage is preferred
- Excellent organization and time management skills
