Human Resources Manager
Houston, TX Easton Energy LLC is a Houston based midstream company focuses on developing infrastructure assets that support the transportation, storage, and processing of hydrocarbons, including natural gas liquids (NGL), crude oil, refined products, and petrochemicals.
POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Manager will direct and oversee the company’s HR plans in ways that support our mission and overall strategy. This position will report directly to the CEO. The HR Manager focuses on developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Update and maintain employee records, personnel files, and other sensitive information
- Manage background check paperwork and new hire files
- Process onboarding for new hires both in person and remotely as well as offboarding
- Facilitate new hire orientation for employees
- Maintain current benefits information and forms
- Maintain the enrollment, administration, and maintenance of the company’s benefit programs (health, dental, 401(k), disability, etc.)
- Maintain the process of weekly and semi-monthly payroll
- Assist in development and implementation of HR policies
- Co-facilitate the Employee Performance Management program
- Research (as required) and appropriately respond to employee inquiries and concerns regarding Human Resources guidelines, procedures, and practices
- Provide support to other members of the HR and Accounting teams as required
- Manage office maintenance, workflow logistics, and office access and security
- Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Identifying payroll tax problems and developing solutions
- Create and implement effective onboarding process
- Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date
- Conduct performance and salary reviews
- Maintain company organization charts and employee directory
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of three years of human resources management experience required
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCRP highly desired
