Joel McComas

Joel has over 20 years of midstream energy experience, primarily working in senior commercial development roles at Phillips 66, Statoil and Louis Dreyfus. His expertise includes development and negotiation of storage, pipelines, fractionation and export projects related to natural gas liquids. Joel pursued a BS in Mathematics from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Scot McClure

Scot has over 20 years of pipeline, underground storage, and petrochemical experience working in various engineering, operations and site leadership roles at LyondellBasell. Prior to LyondellBasell, Scot was an engineer with a pipeline and facilities engineering firm. His expertise includes Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast pipeline asset development and operations of large, interconnected hazardous liquid pipeline systems and associated underground storage facilities. Scot holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee.

William Whaley

William joins Easton from his most recent role as Director of Finance at Zenith Energy. At Zenith, William oversaw budgeting, planning and treasury functions for both the international and North American businesses. Prior to Zenith, William was an investment banking analyst in the Energy and Power group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. William holds a BBA in Finance and Accounting from Baylor University.

Jennifer Paulsen

Jennifer is a Certified Public Accountant with 18 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. Jennifer has over 11 years of public accounting experience serving companies in the oil and gas and manufacturing industries. She joined the private sector in 2012 and has spent her industry career in the midstream space with director-level roles at El Paso Corporation, Kinder Morgan, Inc., and Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP, where she managed all aspects of technical accounting matters for significant transactions, as well as the implementation of new accounting guidance and helped develop the Midstream Industry Group with a following of over forty companies in the Houston area. Jennifer graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Diego State University with a degree in Business Administration.

Al Martinez

Al has 40 years of experience in Midstream Energy and Petrochemicals.  He has extensive experience and institutional knowledge in Natural Gas Liquids (NGLs).  He spent over 35 years with Enterprise Products where he served in various leadership positions; most recently as Senior Vice President, NGL Marketing and Supply.   Al started his career with Tenneco Chemical prior to joining Enterprise.  Before joining Easton, he served as Director of Commercial Development at Martin Midstream.   Al also was a member of the GPA Statistical Committee and the PFAA Board of Directors.  As a strong advocate of community service, he was a licensed peace officer in the State of Texas and was commissioned by the Harris County Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy Sheriff in the Reserve Patrol Division for 15 years. Al also served 4 terms-13 years on the Cypress-Fairbank ISD Board of Trustees and held positions as President, Vice President and Secretary.

Ross Dillon

Ross has over 15 years of experience in the midstream oil and gas industry, most recently as Chief Operating Officer for Ocelot Energy. Prior to Ocelot, Ross was a founding partner and Chief Operating Officer of Cavalcade Midstream.  Before Cavalcade, Ross held various engineering, project management and operations roles with NuStar Energy, Kinder Morgan and El Paso Energy. Ross holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Rick Gehring

Rick has over 40 years of experience in the petroleum and petrochemical industry, having worked for Marathon Oil, Ferrellgas, Mark West Hydrocarbon, and LyondellBasell Industries. He has extensive experience in natural gas liquids, olefins, and pipelines and is a past president and program director of the Petrochemical Feedstock Association of the Americas. Rick has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Miami University and an MBA from the University of Houston.

Chuck Brownman

Chuck Brownman brings over 35 years of oil & gas, corporate and legal experience to Easton Energy and its various entities and businesses. He brings a strategic perspective to the practice of law, helping businesses grow, going back to his time as VP and Assistant General Counsel of Dynegy; VP and General Counsel of Aspect Energy; Associate General Counsel of Apache; and Senior Counsel for ConocoPhillips. Including his stints as in-house counsel for an electricity generation company and a local electricity and gas utility, he possesses a broad knowledge of the energy industry from wellhead to burnertip, including alternate fuels such as solar and wind. In addition to his responsibilities for Easton Energy, Chuck is an Adjunct Professor of Law, having taught Oil & Gas Law, contract drafting and negotiation, and transactional skills at both the University of Houston and South Texas College of Law. He has spoken and written extensively at CLE Programs around the country.
